How to play Block Stacker
Block Stacker is a falling-block puzzle in a neon well. Seven tetromino shapes — bars, squares, L-shapes, T-shapes, zigzags — drop from the top one at a time. Slide each piece left or right, rotate it, and settle it into your stack. Complete a full horizontal line across the 10-wide well and it clears, dropping everything above. The game ends if your stack reaches the top. Pieces fall faster as your score grows: early calm planning becomes late-game adrenaline.
Controls
On desktop: ← → move, ↓ soft drop, ↑ or Space rotate. On touch screens, use the on-screen buttons beside the well — ◀ ▶ to steer, ▼ to drop, ⟳ to rotate. Start begins; Restart wipes the well. Buttons respond to repeated taps for precise steering.
Tips & strategy
Keep your stack flat — a level surface accepts any piece, while towers with deep holes become traps. Leave one open column on the right as a well for bar pieces, which clear four lines at once when they drop in. Use square pieces to plug two-cell gaps, rotate pieces while they fall to save time, and take a clean double clear now over a dreamed-of quadruple later. When the stack runs high, slow down: panic placements dig the holes that end runs.
Scoring
Each cleared line earns 100 points, with multi-line bonuses: two lines at once score 300, three score 500, and a four-line clear scores 800. Your score updates live and your best saves in your browser. Speed is the only level-up — pieces simply fall faster. Chase the four-line clear: the most satisfying move in puzzle gaming.
