How to play Neon Pong
Neon Pong is the timeless arcade rally with a glowing new look. You control the cyan paddle on the left; the computer controls the pink paddle on the right. A ball bounces across the arena — if it slips past your opponent you score, and if it slips past you they score. First to 7 points wins the match. Every paddle strike speeds the ball up slightly, so long rallies turn genuinely tense. No power-ups, no luck: just positioning, reflexes, and angles.
Controls
Move with your mouse over the game area, drag a finger on touch screens, or use the ↑ and ↓ arrow keys. The paddle follows smoothly, so small precise movements beat wild swings. Start begins a match; Restart resets the score anytime. On mobile the paddle tracks your finger, which makes defense feel natural quickly.
Tips & strategy
Where the ball strikes your paddle sets its angle: edge hits send it off steeply and are much harder for the AI to return. Aim returns at the corners, not the middle. Stay centered while the ball is on the opponent's side so you can reach either direction. In fast rallies make small adjustments instead of chasing the ball. The AI sharpens as rallies lengthen, so finish points early with angled shots.
Scoring
Each point shows live as "You X : Y AI". The match ends the moment either side reaches 7, with a victory or defeat banner. Your best-ever points total in a single match saves in your browser, giving you a record to chase even in defeat. Win cleanly, then defend your best scoreline.
